Hi there,

i have many problems on my linux-based system :

1. kpanel : when i start kpanel (i've read the FAQ and Installinstructions) 
            the icons are not in the place. When i kill "kpanel" and restart
            it from a xterm, it works fine. Kpanel doesn't seem to find
            his icons. The KDE-DIR is set correctly.

2. kdm    : It doesn't compile correctly with this output-message :

jpeg.o: In function `read_jpeg_jfif(QImageIO *)':
jpeg.o(.text+0x6d): undefined reference to `jpeg_CreateDecompress'
make: *** [kdmdesktop] Error 1

Is there anywhere a binary of this package ?
Where can i find the necessary libshadow ?


3. kfm     : kfm dumps, when i simple clicked on FTPURL and outputs the
             following error-message :
