I have seen this crash in a build from two weeks ago and a build from yesterday. Kate \
is crashing every time it starts up from the previous session. I took a brief look at \
the source but couldn't figure out why.

Reproduce by opening several documents, logging off kde with saving session, and \
logging on again. Kate opens all documents and then crashes - backtrace below.
