Hi! It's very good that you again worked on the kate code-completion code.
However, the completion-widget doesn't show any content any more. I've already 
fixed one problem -r680492 , but that code is really too complicated for me 
to find the reason why the widget stays empty again. Could you test and 
repair that?

One other problem(that I already had before your last patch) is that the 
completion-list is always empty when opened the first time. Maybe you know 
what might be causing this problem.

Btw. you know adept's package-list do you? It contains list-entries that can 
be expanded to show additional information about the package etc. I've 
thought about it and think that it would be great of an entry in the 
completion-widget could be expanded like in the adept package-list to show 
more information, documentation, and maybe some possible actions about 
entries in the list.

Do you think this would be possible?
