umm, the same rpm version?? that is a bit confusing. i downloaded the mandrake rpms from your mirror and installed them. not to mention the fact that konqueror uses 99% cpu usage. why was konqueror even released if it has so many problems. and if i understand correctly, what does the rpm version have to do with konqueror crashing with the openssl. (yes i meant 0.9.6) I looked at the source for the konq + opensll and it even says it has bugs. whats up with that alot of your mirror sites are not all the same either. > On Wednesday 29 August 2001 23:07, lazybrain@rcn.com wrote: > > Package: kssl > > Version: KDE 2.2.0 > > Severity: normal > > Installed from: Mandrake RPMs > > Compiler: gcc-2.95-3mdk > > OS: Not Specified > > OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified > > > > in the konqueror settings under crypto > > > > i typed in /usr/include/openssl and clicked > > test. then it crashed. i installed > > openssl 2.9.6 > > 0.9.6 you mean? > > Now You must (note: _MUST_) use the exact same RPM for running KDE that was > used to compile KDE in the first place.
