Hi Corwin,

This is actually not a problem with getting content from the remote 
machines at all, but rather a problem with khtml and its handling of 
complex frames.  Found this out by making a test case out of your 
example with one minor change: all the test files were local files.

So this is a khtml issue rather than a kio_http issue.  BTW, what is
the <PRE> tag doing there in the example you gave :)  Also some of
the attributes were specified in the wrong place while others were not
specified in the HTML 4.x spec at all.  I have not checked to see if
the exist in HTML 3.x spec however.

Attached is a test case made out of the example in Corwin's original
