Are the files stored in utf-8? Then there might be the problem, that you 
don't have unicode-fonts installed. This problem is solved in 0.9.4 where 
unicode fonts are only used when they are installed. Please try this version 
then.
0.9.4 is only in KDE CVS at the moment, because I didn't had the time to 
package it yet. If you can not update your sources from CVS, send me a mail 
and I will make a package.
