sure.

You're right. It seems that without anti-aliasing it doesn't happen. (I'm a 
little surprised for the regularity of the crash when I reply to a large 
amount of people... it seemed to me that it couldn't be XFree related, sorry.)

I'm currently using XFree 4.1 atken from Mandrake Cooker archive.
