OS/Compiler notes: 

I have KDvi watching my DVI file. When the DVI changes because a new
version of it is produced by running latex, the scrollbars disappear. Navigation
using cursor keys is impossible. Mouse drag navigation still works. The toolbars \
reappear, and mouse navigation is possible again, if the zoom is being changed.
