in konqueror, if you enter:

ftp://ftp.mindspring.com/users/kruel

you get the error:

The file or directory /users/kruel does not exist.

but if you enter the same url in netscape, or even lynx, you get the directory \
contents.

also, if you are logged into an ftp server, and there is a directory that is all \
spaces, such as "/users/kruel/     /", then the tree expands, but not properly.  it's \
hard to describe in text, so i would suggest going to \
ftp://ftp.mindspring.com/users/kruel/ in konqueror and trying to expand the "     " \
(5 spaces) directory.  (once you get the first bug fixed, of course. :-)

i am able to see this problem when i login to the mindspring ftp server with my \
username and password.  i can't login at all anonymously.
