Thanks for the suggested workaround to bug 21922. This crash,
as I indicated in the original report, is sporadic and yesterday
was the first opportunity I had to try the workaround.

I am afraid I have to report that the workaround doesn't work
on my system. I tried it several times, and waited MUCH longer
than five seconds (at least 10-15 seconds), with no success.
I finally gave up and did a "kill -15" on the KMail process.
I tried both Konsole and another KMail instance (different
Linux user account, run from a shell after "su -" to the other
user) as sources of the new clipboard data.

Any other tests you want me to run?
