Model number IN5692, (PCI hardware = type modem). The problem: The computer cannot talk to the modem. I open kppp and click on = "connect" then the following message appears : "Sorry, the modem is = busy". The modem is not busy at all. It is not doing anything. I know the modem is ok because it works fine under Windows 98, on the = same computer. It's port under Windows is COM 3. The problem:
