Package: konsole
Version: KDE 2.1.0
Severity: normal
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: egcs-2.91.66
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I have installed the 2.1.0 rpms for redhat 6.x and the Backspace key seems to be \
sending a "deletechar" key, same as the Delete key. (I found this by running emacs \
in the konsole and asking emacs what key it is.) On the command line it enters a \
tilde (~) rather than deleting the previous key. In other apps like Konqueror it \
deletes the next key rather than the previous key.

Very strange.
