Hiya,

Can it be that you are rejecting cookies for .yahoo.com? There is a bug in 
KDE2.1 that made that changes in the cookie configuration aren't going into 
effect until you restart your desktop.

Please check that you are accepting cookies for .yahoo.com
After that type "kcookiejar --shutdown" in to a command line (e.g. via Alt-F2)
followed by "kcookiejar".

Does that solve your problem?
