Initially after install and ran the command "gears" and this opened correctly. However it ran a
a slowerthan desired speed (with proper driver and Xconfig it should be "very fast") and in full
screenit was very slow. I then ran the command "switch2nv_glx" and it broke, failed to load,
and at one point froze the Xserver (and keyboard and mouse) - thank god for the reiser files sys.

After I instatlled the NVidia kernal and GLX drivers (version 0.9-6 ) rpm's and configured the
xf86config file with " Load "glx", "dri", "xie", "pex5", "record" into the xf86config file and
added line to 'ram 32768' under the video card section, then ran command "swithc2nvidia_glx"
I was able to then run the command "gears" and did get the appropriate response and it work
as fast in full screen asin the windowed mode (runs very very fast). However, when in the
KDE2 "Control Center" under "screensavers" in the "Look and Feel" section KDE Control
crashes and hence this e-mail.

I have a Abit BE6-II rev2.0 with 160 ram, Cardex NVidia GeForce2-MX,dual boot with
Linux SuSE 7.1 running both 2.2.18 and 2.4 kernels and (unfortunately) W98SE.
If you need any further information or feedback please don't hesitate to write me.
Thank you and good luck. Curtis Rey
