Subject: Bug#19510: Missing message bodies.
From: "Brett K. Heath" <bheath () csun ! edu>
Date: 2001-02-01 1:03:40
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: knode
Version: 0.4beta4 (KDE 2.1 Beta 2)
Severity: normal
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.2.16 i686 (SuSE)
When opening some messages the message body is missing. All that shows is a three
column table with the titles |name|mime-type|description|. I know these are not empty
messages posted by mistake because portions of the text show up in subsequent
responses. I have tried using the reply (both email and news) functions to get a view of
the contents but there is no included text shown (opening in a seperate window also
doesn't help). These messages always seem to have Turnpike Integrated Version 4.02 U
as the originating newsreader (although occasionally messages from this newsreader do
show up correctly). This is, as far as I know, a new problem that first occured when I
started using 0.4beta4 (simultaneous with moving from KDE 2.1beta1 to 2.1beta2).
