The other way is to run manually "killal amor" which is not graceful for a KDE user ;) it should be easy for an new/average user of KDE to do things. And why should even the Advanced user have to type so much? because it's not a usual task to do. There is ksysguard where could ask such feature, but in AMOR? Beside that killall is _very_ linux specific. Under Solaris killall does what the name suggests.
