Package: knode
Version: 0.3.2 (KDE 2.0)
Severity: wishlist
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.2.16 i686 (compiled sources)

Hi,

I just switched to knode and it's a great program.
There are only some minor issues that are quite
annoying for me:

* There is no real possibility to really kill/ignore
a thread, as replies to an ignored (e.g. score
is 0) article will get score 0, too, and not
displayed when using the unread-filter, but
the "Unread" counter at the group view does
still count these unread and undisplayed
articles as unread (which they are, but I do
  not want to read them)
* I am missing a feature that allows me to hit
one key when displaying the first article in
a thread, that will allow me to both ignore
the replies and mark them as read.
Hitting I (Ignore) gives them a score of 0,
but the dozen replies are still marked as to
be read and I have to press the key with the
function "mark thread as read". This are
already two keystrokes. Maybe you should
consider to allow some kind of small scripts
where the user can put together a list of
  actions (like:
ignore thread, mark thread as read,
     updated article view)
* When only showing new articles in a thread
but not a complete thread, KNode does not
put these replies together but scatters them
over the window (depending on the time
  sent).
These replies should be put together in a
  kind of thread, too.

Except these (minor) points, KNode is really
a great program. Keep up the good work, and
a happy new year,
