No you didn't do anything wrong- I get the same thing.  I can't get this 
applet to load in netscape.  This kind of bug means that the java class file 
was found to be corrupt by the internal class loader in the jvm.  Since 
netscape can't load it either, it makes me think that whatever compiled that 
applet is a little buggy.  

I'm still looking to see if there's some sort of method to tell the JVM to 
not be so strict in it's class loading, but I haven't found anything yet.
