Package: kicker
Version: 2.0
Severity: grave
Installed from: RedHat6.2 RPMS for alpha

This problem seems to be specific to the "alpha" architecture.

When opening windows, only half of them will appear in the
taskbar (alternatively one is listed and one is not). The content
of the minidesktops is consistent with the taskbar (i.e. there
are half of the windows drawn in the minidesktops) and also
the "window list" button shows only half of the windows.

This could perhaps be related to the fact that on alpha
architectures pointers are 64 bits long, while integers are 32,
in contrast with i386 where both pointers and integers are
of the same size.

Best regards,

Maurizio Paolini
