Konqi and any other kio powered application crashes on entering directories that contain
directories that are mounted with smbmnt. For example:

I mounted a remote smb share on /mnt/mp3. After entering the /mnt dir with konqi, konqi 
just exits without any message. After unmounting /mnt/mp3 entering /mnt works fine.
