From kde-bugs-dist Fri Jun 30 14:37:29 2000 From: Don Sanders Date: Fri, 30 Jun 2000 14:37:29 +0000 To: kde-bugs-dist Subject: Bug#5800: Displayed date of messages sometimes 01. Jan 1970 X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-bugs-dist&m=96237658302385 Sometimes (unreproduceable) the date of a newly displayed mail is 01. Jan. 1970. The real date of the mail -also unreproduceably - changes back to its real date as in the Mailheader somehow. This date-change of new messages happen quite some times but not always. I have worked out how to consistenly reproduce this problem. It is only happening when mail is retrieved using an advanced pop account (you must be using one of these). Try using a plain pop account and the problem should go away. I'll try to work out what's going wrong with advanced pop (or the kioslave system underneath it) as time permits. BFN, Don.
