Hi,

See subject.
To produce that start kwrite (without document). Enter something until you 
reach the right border and the horizontal scrollbar appears. Don't press 
Enter. Everything must be in one line up to now. Now press the Home-Key to 
get to the left and surprisingly the horizontal scrollbar disappears. Now 
press Enter to get the just entered stuff in the second line and after that 
delete the whole text. Surprisingly the scrollbar remains visible.
