kedit behaves badly after a 'find'.

After successfully finding ( and highlighting ) text , the editor starts
to fail on inserting and/or deleting lines of the text.
It will not display an inserted line and it will scroll up into a
deleted line, a line from off the display, or continue to show the
deleted line.
The buffer is correct so if I page off and then back I can see the
changes correctly, but behavior is still bad until I close and re-open
kedit.
