From kde-bugs-dist Wed Mar 29 13:17:54 2000 From: Steffen Klupsch Date: Wed, 29 Mar 2000 13:17:54 +0000 To: kde-bugs-dist Subject: Bug#2909: Solaris Windows on Intel/Linux/KDE without proper Windowborders ("Titelleiste") X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-bugs-dist&m=95433685014965 Package: unknown Version: KDE 1.1.2 on SuSE 6.3, Kernel 2.2.13 Severity: grave When receiving X-Windows from Solaris programs it may happen that they are displayed WITHOUT kde's windowborder. In other words, it is not possible to move or resize the windows with the mouse and the 'title line' with the icons is missing. Programs which show this problem: All 'windows3.1-look-a-like' programs from SYNOPSYS Inc. How to solve this problem? - Use fvwm2, and all windows get their borders. (Sorry, but I didn't find a better solution yet.) Please get in contact with me and give me some instructions on how to help to find/fix this strange problem...
