KDE Release: 1.1.2

Package: kwm
Version: 0.14 patchlevel 3

Description: Unreliable behavior with multiple remote sessions
owned by the same user.

Symptoms are such that apps invoked from kpanel, kfm, or from the
desktop menu "Execute command" simply don't start.

This is fairly easy to reproduce.

1. Open one remote KDE session, either from xdm/kdm or using startkde.

2. Repeat on another X server (same userid) such that there are two
kde/kwm sessions running concurrently.

3. Return to first session and try to open any app, "konsole" for example,
which will fail to open.

Personal note: KDE absolutely MUST be able to run as reliably and
robustly as it's predecessors (Openlook, Motif, CDE, etc.) to ever
be taken seriously as a viable Desktop in the commercial UNIX world.

Thanks,
Fred Wells
