Please close this bug report.

The problem turned out to be in the Linux kernel.  With dissimilar CPU speeds
on an SMP machine, the TSC correction code in the kernel does not work
properly.  This has NOTHING TO DO WITH KDE and indeed cannot be fixed by KDE
but only by a patch to the Linux kernel.
