From kde-bugs-dist Mon Feb 28 06:18:28 2000 From: Christian Rodrigo Oviedo Gabarda Date: Mon, 28 Feb 2000 06:18:28 +0000 To: kde-bugs-dist Subject: Bug#2765: Sometimes KDE freeze... X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-bugs-dist&m=95171960616318 I don't know what package relate with this, but when i', using kde for a long time (about 3 or 4 hours), it freeze about 4 minutes or more sometimes. The mouse move the cursor, but kpanel or anything on the screen doesn't work. The machine is working, because I can change to tty1 or 2 and log in other session or kill the X server. I think it could be the X-server, but I've installed the new versions of X and it doesn't change. If you need more information i'm glad to send it to you (I feel lucky by using KDE :) ), but i don't know which other things may be important to kknow tha problem. I'm now using Debian woody (before i used 2.1 r3 and it worked the same), kernel 2.2.4, libc6 2.1.3-4. The kernel was compiled (not in a .deb package) and libc6 in a .deb greeting from chile. -- | Christian Rodrigo Oviedo Gabarda El ocio es la mejor forma | mailto:choviedo@dcc.uchile.cl de darte cuenta que no estas | http://pagina.de/ChristianOviedo haciendo nada. | ICQ # 39099719 (Arathorn) | cel: (09) 441 31 65 | mail2: imbecil@uol.cl (no usar :) )
