I have tried this on three separate machine's all with the same results.

Compaq 4808 200 MHz 96M Ram
Dell Dimension XPS R P II 450 MHz 128M Ram
Dell Optiplex GXi 166 MHz 32M Ram

Note: All machines are running Red Hat 6.1, with KDE 1.1.2

I have enable the system sounds and tried to test them and I get nothing.
The games I have on all machines produce sounds as they should. The bell
even tests okay, but no other system sounds work. If you could please lend
some assistance it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
