KFM is an application that is extremely unconfigurable. Yes, you can set
how it should look like, but not how it should work. Here are three pet
annoyances of mine:

You can't set separate options for separate folders. Let's say I want a
folder with no crap (toolbar, menubar, statusbar), icons listed and a
special background color. However, all other folders should use the
standard settings. There seems to be such an option, but it is grayed out
in my KDE version (1.1.2).

When dragging an object, you see the objects icon. When dragging multible
objects, the icons gets replaced by some papers. Why not make a new icon
composed of at least tree to four objects? Also, when dragging over objects
you get no visual feedback. Drawing a single, black frame around the
destination object would not be too hard, would it?

I want to teach KFM how I prefer my mouse, not the other way around. If KFM
had been using me to perform real world tasks like making it a hot meal, I
would happily adopt to the way KFM works. Unfortunately, that is not the
way here. Therefore, I want to be able to set it up like this:
 * Left mouse, singleclick: select
 * Left mouse, doubleclick: open object
 * Left mouse, drag: nothing
 * Right mouse, singleclick: object menu
 * Right mouse, doubleclick: object menu
 * Right mouse, drag: move object(s) without asking
Yes, that's it, I do NOT want the silly menu asking me if I want to copy or
link after dropping a dragged object. Instead, use key combinations (Ctrl
copies, Shift moves and Ctrl+Shift links). 

That's it for me. Thanks for making a stable (if not configurable) product,
and try to stop copying Windows every feature in the future!
