Subject: KMail gives Excel sheets mimetype "application/msword"

X-Mailer: KMail [version 1.0.28]
Content-Type: text/plain
MIME-Version: 1.0
Message-Id: <00020114220007.00447@gorgonzola>

Return-Path: <mark@gorgonzola.stelvio.nl>

When I send an Excel sheet as an attachment (sometimes you have to...) KMail
puts "application/msword" in the MIME-type field.

This confuses some recipients.

I am using SuSE 6.2, kernel version 2.2.14.

KMail version 1.0.28.

Thanks.
