Subject: kappfinder won't  start

kappfinder doesn't start from either the icon or the X-term. I get the
following output when I invoke kappfinder from  /usr/bin:

 /usr/bin/kappfinder: ${install_root}/usr/share/apps/kappfinder: no such
directory. 

I am running RedHat 6.1. Since the program does not respond I cannot
tell you the version number.
