This is the output I recieve when it is run: [root@localhost /]# cd usr [root@localhost /usr]# cd bin [root@localhost bin]# kappfinder /usr/bin/kappfinder: ${install_root}/usr/share/apps/kappfinder: No such file or directory Installing to /root/.kde find: apps: No such file or directory find: apps: No such file or directory Also I often get errors when compiling KDE programs, here is the output: checking for kde libraries installed... configure: error: your system fails at linking a small KDE application! Check, if your compiler is installed correctly and if you have used the same compiler to compile Qt and kdelibs as you did use now Please get back to me, thanks. Carlo
