Package: kdvi
Version: 0.4.3

While scrolling down in a particular file, kdvi causes my whole
X-session to end very ungracefully.

I think there is something funny about the .dvi file, so I could
understand kdvi behaving strangely, but how can it bring my whole
X-session down?

The file was created with LaTeX and the envlab package. A gzipped
uuencoded version of it is included below. The reason I think
there is something funny about the .dvi file is that both kdvi and
xdvi have scroll bars that would indicate the document is about
1000 times taller than the page actually is. When I scroll down in
xdvi it behaves a little strangely, but when I scroll down in kdvi,
I get dumped back to VT1 and then kdm starts again. I didn't see
any useful logs or error messages.

I'm running SuSE 6.2
KDE 1.1.2
kernel 2.2.10
XFree86 3.3.4 S3
