Package: kdebase
Version 1.1.2

compilation problem: kde 1.1.2, IRIX 6.5, gcc-2.95.1

Here is a problem I could not resolve:

gmake[4]: Entering directory `/disk2/ralf/Software/kde/kdebase-1.1.2/kcontrol/info'
g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -I/software/kde/1.1.2/include -I/work/include     \
-I/work/include  -D_LANGUAGE_C_PLUS_PLUS -c memory.cpp In file included from \
                memory.cpp:88:
memory_sgi.cpp: In method `void KMemoryWidget::update()':
memory_sgi.cpp:23: `UBSIZE' undeclared (first use this function)
memory_sgi.cpp:23: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
memory_sgi.cpp:23: for each function it appears in.)
memory_sgi.cpp:34: `MPKA_SHMINFO' undeclared (first use this function)
memory_sgi.cpp:36: aggregate `struct shminfo shmi' has incomplete type and cannot be \
initialized memory_sgi.cpp:37: confused by earlier errors, bailing out
gmake[4]: *** [memory.o] Error 1
gmake[4]: Target `all-am' not remade because of errors.
gmake[4]: Leaving directory `/disk2/ralf/Software/kde/kdebase-1.1.2/kcontrol/info'

UBSIZE and MPKA_SHMINFO are nowhere defined in the SGI header files,
at least not in /usr/include and /usr/include/sys.

? Why doesn't DOS ever say "EXCELLENT command or filename" ?
