This is from the Mandrake 6.1 distribution with no modifications.

Netscape frequently exits when any netscape window is closed.  This
occurs most frequently when the enter password window in the mail client
disappears after submitting the password, but it can also happen when
closing browser windows.  It appears to only happen in KWM.  I have
tested in fvwm and windowmaker, and neither exhibits this behaviour.
The same thing happened in Mandrake 6.0, which, I believe, used an
earlier version of the window manager.
