package: kdm
version: kde version 1.1.1

i am not sure what package kdmconfig is under but this bug occurrs in
both kde 1.1.0 and 1.1.1. prior to using kdmconfig there is a blank
screensaver at the kdm login screen. after using kdmconfig the blank
screensaver is lost at the kdm login screen. the loss of the
screensaver occurs on stand alone machines. on a machine connected to a
lan the screensaver is not lost. this has happened on many machines
all using suse 6.1 and 6.2 i tried to invoke a screensaver using xset
at a terminal window after going to the kdm screen with no result.

suse 6.1 with kernel 2.2.5 and 2.2.7. suse 6.2 with kernel 2.2.10.

any ideas, the lost screensaver is %100 on stand alone machines and no
loss of screensaver on any of the machines connected to a lan.
