Subject: Bug#1874: Reproducable kfm / KDE 1.1.1 crash

Version: 1.1.1
Hi
I want to report a reproducable crash of kfm / KDE 1.1.1.
Way to reproduce the crash:
I start kfm, open the folder /dev and click with the right mouse button on the device \
sg0.
Then the only thing I can do is switching through the four desktops. I am not able to \
start any program and the instance of kfm is no longer working (like every other \
running task). If I then decide to close KDE the system completely stops responding \
and I have to make a cold reboot.
I use Kernel 2.2.12 and SuSE Linux 6.0 together with KDE 1.1.1 (RPMs from the SuSE \
homepage). I have configured SCSI host adaptor emulation (this may be important \
since sg0 is an SCSI device) and I own a parallel ZIP drive which is handled (I \
think) like an SCSI device.
The problem does not occur under gmc (the GNOME file manager) which makes me think \
that it is not the Kernel's fault (the device itself seems to be OK). The problem \
occurs independent of whether a ZIP disk is inserted or not.
Hope you have any ideas, Peter.
