Version: 1.1-3rh5x One more instance of a screensaver module is loaded everytime the screensaver option is modified through the "Display properties" dialog invoked by choosing the corresponding desktop context-sensitive menu option. The resulting behavior of more than one instance of screensaver running (with inevitable slightly different activation delay) is daunting ... as you can imagine ... the screen is messed up with trailing pixels all over the place. What's worse is that if "password required" option is chosen for the screensaver, depending on the activation delay (or perhaps how many instances of the same module was loaded!!), you may not be able to log into X Window session again. The worse case scenario was that I had to do the three-finger salute to end the x-session. Please let me know if this is actually NOT a bug because of my ignorance or my inexperience to the Linux/UNIX world. BTW, if the screensaver module change is done through "K/Settings/Desktop/Screensaver" menu selection, the module is NOT loaded again. Thansk,
