Programs: screensaver and panel

Hello!

When I open the "K" menu, move the pointer to some menu item and then suddenly
fall asleep :), then at least the "Tropfen","Bouboule" and "Fledermduse" (I'm
german...) screensavers (scs) behave very strange:

+ the scs starts after some inactivity time, but it does not hide the mouse, and

+ by clicking with the mouse it is possible to start a program (I tried with
Shisen-Sho), that you even see on the screen until the scs has drawn over it,
and

+ after the first mouse click, the mouse is finally hidden - but only outside
the "Passwort eingeben" box, and

+ If you move the mouse there and click any mouse keys like crazy, quite often
the scs redisplays itself, but shrinks to the top of the screen (roughly 2/3
of the default desktop icon height), and

+ if I then enter my password, the scs correctly disappears, but when the
inactivity time has elapsed again, only the small region at the top of the
screen is filled by the scs (looks funny!).

After choosing another scs the initial behavior is "normal", but the strange
things were reproducable. The whole thing ocurred only when the panel was set
to "auto hide". I know that the last two "+" items do lack an exact description
how to reproduce them, but as it's a very time-consuming job I hope that you,
as the person who wrote the code, might have an idea where these misbehaviours
come from.

I am using a self-compiled system (tgz from everywhere), kernel 2.2.4, glibc
2.1.1pre1, and compiled the KDE package with egcs-1.1.2pre1 and as my second
system a debian 2.0 with self-compiled qt and kde-1.1 and without
pre-versions, and the errrors ocurred on both.

Greetings and good luck!

Alexander B|rger
