Package: kwrite
Version: Caldera OpenLinux 2.2 kde 1.1 i386 right out of the box.

kwrite stays up momentarily then dies.

Pretty wierd, I have been running kde at work 4x24 for 5 weeks without a
hitch. 

I see that its a handler for a timing event so this might be a timing
issue
