Subject: Bug#1626: Session exit lookup when DDD debugger is active
From: Stefan.Becker () nmp ! nokia ! com

[Download RAW message or body]
Package: kwm
Version: 1.1.2pre
Target : hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20
I'm using the DDD 3.1.5 frontend (*) to gdb 4.17.
If I only start DDD and press kwm's exit button, everything works fine.
But as soon as I load a file in gdb with "file <executable>" and the
source window pops up, then a press on kwm's exit button leads to a
lockup: The desktop is ghosted and the dialog "Prepare session" appears,
but nothing happens anymore until I kill the kwm process...
This might be a problem of DDD's event loop, but kwm should not lockup.
Maybe a timeout can be installed?
Regards,
Stefan
