It works great except for one thing. When I switch to the desktop with my shell window (konsole), it already has the input focus and I should be able to start typing immediately. However, something nearly always swallows the first keystroke I type; it rarely appears in the shell window. Once in a while, ALL of my keystrokes are swallowed and I have to hit Alt-Tab a couple of times to switch input focus away and back again before I can type anything. This problem NEVER happens when I switch to the desktop with XEmacs and start typing in it, so it may be a bug in konsole. If I use the buttons on the panel (One, Two, Three, Four) to switch desktops, I don't have any problem with konsole either. I searched the bugs database and the mailing list archives and failed to find anything that mentioned this problem, so I decided to file this bug report. I am using RedHat Linux 6.0 with all the latest errata RPMs applied, including RedHat's KDE 1.1.1 RPMs. John
