I get the feeling that this bug is in actuality a problem with the
libraries you're using.  I'm not sure what compiler/optimizations Mandrake
uses, but if it's using -mpentium and/or pgcc please try and roll back
some of the optimizations.  Until then, I'm going to close this bug.
