Hi,

I have tried to install the 1.1.1 debian packages with two problems. First
kdebase now requires xdm. I do not use, or want to use, nor do I want to have
xdm anyware near my system... I could understand having a suggests but NOT
having a depends....

Second, using kppp I cannot connect at all. It is able to dial but then just
hangs up.

1.1.1pre1 compiled locally works fine. I am using slink.

THANKS for all the GREAT work you all have done!
