When invoked for the first time, desktop settings dialog (backgrounds
etc.) behaved strangely. Among all background pictures it allowed to
choose only some of them. Other pictures could be selected in the
combo box, but the button "Apply" had no effect. After closing and
opening again the dialog, it appeared that checkbox "random" is on,
although I didn't set it. All subsequent openings of that dialog
were all right.

I had a previous version of KDE installed on my machine, and when
I started the 1.1.1 version, it prompted to me to change "templates".
For one of my accounts on the machine I agreed and for another
declined. The reported problem was found in both.
