Subject: No keyboard switching in mini-command line (invoked by Alt-F2) using

The problem:
Mini-command line (ALT-F2 one) does not react when kikbd changes keyboard
settings. 
I am using KOI8-r and standard Enlgish settings. 

My linux box is Mandrake 5.3 with 2.0.36 kernel
Celeron 300A overclocked to 450, abit bh-6 motherboard
