I encountered the same problem as the user who submitted the original
kmail bug-report #356: PGP signing of plain text (not crypted) messages
does not work correctly. When I review a PGP signed message in the
outbox, a bad PGP signature is reported. Even if I save the Message and
check it manually by pgpv, the PGP signature is reported to be bad.
In my case the error _is_ reproducable, only one time I was able to sign
a message correctly. That was a very simple message without special
characters which could have required encoding, maybe the error has also
something to do with the final character(s) of my .signature file. I
think changing something about that produced that one correct PGP
signature.
