I click the attach icon, file window is presented and I select a directory
from my homedir and blammo, I get an error dialog that spawns itself faster than
rabbits consumate:

kmail: QPainter::begin: Another QPainter is already painting this device;
              A paint device can only be painted by one QPainter at a time
              kmail: ASSERT: "c < nCols" in widgets/qtableview.cpp (1629) 

A backtrace is available, if necessary, and the problem is reproduceable. 
After a little research I found a resolved Kmail ticket #778 that mentions that
the problem was with Kfiledialog but that it was resolved.

For info, I'm running Kmail 1.0.21, KDE 1.1.1 and Qt 1.42 on top of Red Hat 5.2
on a PII233/64MB running Linux kernel version 2.0.36.
