Sometimes, when our users try to log out, the screen goes gray and KDE
hangs.  We are waiting for the "Session prepared for logout" message,
but it never shows up.

I believe this is because some X program refuses to answer the request
to save it's session info, and that kwm has no timeout feature during
logout.

I usually solve this by logging in as root (from the net), and do
'killall -HUP kwm'.  Then the user is logged out, but I believe the
session info is lost.
