From kde-bugs-dist Sun Apr 25 13:54:30 1999 From: Petter Reinholdtsen Date: Sun, 25 Apr 1999 13:54:30 +0000 To: kde-bugs-dist Subject: Bug#1246: klpq dies with no error when /etc/printcap is missing X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-bugs-dist&m=92557532325600 Package: klpq Version: 1.1 When starting klpq on a machine where /etc/printcap is missing, it pops up a dialog box to "Select your spooling system", and when choosing the correct BSD setting, the program just dies. It writes "Sorry, can't open your printcap file." into the console. It should inform about the missing printcap file in a dialog box, to let users starting the program from the K menu know about the problem. -- ##> Petter Reinholdtsen <## | pere@td.org.uit.no
